How long does Invisalign take?
It depends on how far your teeth need to move. Dr. Eshaghian gives you a realistic timeline at the consultation after examining your teeth, and progress check ins keep it on track.
Does it hurt?
Each new aligner puts gentle pressure on your teeth, which is how they move. Many people feel that pressure for the first day or two of a new tray and then forget the aligners are in. There are no brackets or wires to rub against your cheeks.
How many hours a day do I wear the aligners?
About 20 hours a day for the best results. They come out to eat, drink anything other than water, brush and floss, and go straight back in.
Am I a candidate?
Invisalign is evaluated for adults and teens with mild to moderate misalignment, including crowding, spacing, overbite, crossbite and underbite. The only way to know for your teeth is the consultation, and if a different treatment would serve you better, you hear that first.
